Peak Performance Training

What is Peak Performance Training

Peak Performance training is designed to help you achieve your athletic, personal, and/or professional goals.
The work Gina has done with my skating students has given them tools and confidence to meet their goals on the ice. The mental part of training is paramount and with Gina’s experience as both a skater and therapist she can bring these two worlds together.” – Mimi Wacholder, Figure Skating Coach
Athletics
I am a member of AASP, Association for Applied Sport Psychology. I work with athletes and their families to help address the game behind the games. In figure skating, hockey, golf, running, and any other athletic pursuit, there is often more obstacles than physical stamina. Choking in competitions, negative self talk, managing expectation, interactions with coaches and teammates, and hidden agendas are only some of the areas I address with athletics. I also work with parents of young athletes. These parents face special challenges. They need to protect and encourage. Finding the right footing can be tricky. Sometimes a sport can dominate a family. If one parent is the dominant parent taking a child to practice or attending the sport event, splits between the other children and parent can occur. Peak Performance can mean working as a family for success.
Personal and Professional Peak Performance
Not meeting our own expectations at work or with a particular goal can be frustrating. Whether it be fear of public speaking, problems with ADHD symptoms, falling behind on work assignments, not completing school or personal goals, peak performance coaching can help.

Teamwork is important on and off the ice. It takes courage to try a new sport as an adult. The thrill of learning a new lift is like no other.”
I am proud of myself for continuing to push through and not give up even though I messed up my first jump. I feel ready.” – Sr. Level Skater
I passed - Thanks for all your help.” – Novice Skater
Gina has been instrumental in helping to build my 16 year old son's confidence and self accountability. His grades and athletic performance have improved significantly with Gina's help, but perhaps most importantly, our relationship with our son has improved dramatically. Thank you Gina!”
